WorkbookWise is built for business spreadsheets. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, and how to contact us about deletion, privacy, or support.

Passwords are hashed

WorkbookWise does not store raw account passwords.

Files are for workbook flows

Uploaded sheets are used to process, validate, and return workbook output.

Data we collect

Only the data needed to run the product.

Account data

Name, email, hashed password where applicable, login provider, plan, role, state, business type, and language preferences when you create an account.

Workbook data

Prompts, pasted text, selected answers, generated workbook metadata, saved workbook records, download records, and share links you choose to create.

Uploaded files

Excel, CSV, PDF, image, or other supported files uploaded for Capture to Excel, Use My Data, Fix My Excel, converter, printable, or document workflows.

Usage data

Feature usage counts, entitlement checks, limits, validation results, export/download events, and operational logs needed to run the service.

Support data

Messages sent through the contact form, email support, in-product help requests, product interest forms, bug reports, screenshots you provide, page/account context attached to support requests, and billing/refund context.

Payment data

Paid checkout is handled through Razorpay where enabled. WorkbookWise stores payment status, subscription status, and payment identifiers, not full card details.

How we use it

Product operation, validation, support, and security.

To create and validate files

We use your inputs to generate XLSX workbooks, printable outputs, ZIP downloads, previews, and Google Sheets export where supported.

To store your workspace

Saved workbooks, generated files, usage counters, and account settings may be stored so you can reopen, download, delete, or share files.

To run selected AI flows

Formula, Scripts, adaptive custom questions, Fix My Excel planning, and regional workbook text may use LLM processing. Ready-made template downloads do not need LLM calls.

To protect the product

We use logs, validation events, and rate-limit data to prevent abuse, enforce plan limits, troubleshoot failures, and keep downloads safe.

LLM and third parties

AI is used for specific helper flows, not for every download.

Formula/Scripts, adaptive custom questions, Fix My Excel planning, and regional text output may send relevant prompt or workbook-structure context to an LLM provider such as OpenAI.

Ready-made template library downloads and 1000 Templates Pack ZIP downloads are deterministic download paths and should not require LLM calls.

We do not intentionally send payment card details to LLM providers. Payment processing is handled by Razorpay where checkout is enabled.

Google OAuth data is used only for supported login and Google Sheets export flows. Google Sheets export requires Google authorization when you choose that export path.

Public Share Data links are intended for anyone with the link to view the selected rows and columns until the link is disabled or deleted.

Retention and deletion

Raw uploads and pasted inputs may be processed temporarily and may also be retained when needed for saved-workbook access, generated files, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, legal obligations, or account history. You can request account/data deletion by emailing support@workbookwise.in.

Your responsibility

Avoid uploading passwords, API keys, bank login credentials, Aadhaar numbers, or unrelated personal data. Review generated workbooks before relying on them for tax, compliance, payroll, or financial decisions.

Children

WorkbookWise is intended for business users and is not intended for users under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product, payment flow, storage model, or legal requirements change. Significant changes may be communicated by email or in-app notice.
